One Life
One Life’ tells the true story of Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton, played by Johnny Flynn, who along with the British Committee for Refugees in Czechoslovakia, rescued 669 children from the Nazis in the months leading up to World War II. The work of the BCRC went largely forgotten until Nicky (played by Anthony Hopkins) rediscovered his scrapbook in 1988 and the story came to light.
It was a really special project for me to work on, as my own grandmother came to the UK on the kindertransport from Austria in 1939. I can't imagine I'll ever get another chance to work on a film with such a personal connection. It was also my first time co-leading a graphics team, with teams in 2 countries, and on top of all of it, the whole story was driven by a hero prop - Nicholas Winton's scrapbook.
Production Design by Christina Moore and Set Decoration by Philippa Hart.

Knuckles
Knuckles is a road trip TV series, where Sonic's favourite companion (played by Idris Elba) goes on a bowling adventure to help out his friend Wade Whipple, learning about his own powers along the way. As a graphic designer on the team I was responsible for a number of sets and action props, including an amazing real life recreation of an 8-bit video game.

Catherine Called Birdy
Catherine Called Birdy follows the coming of age of a teenage girl in medieval England.
Working as an Assistant Graphic Designer I was largely responsible for action props and book elements we created by hand, as well as some of the painted elements which were designed by the Graphics team and painted by hand.

His Dark Materials
Season 3 of His Dark Materials is the finale of Lyra's journey, where she and Will travel through multiple worlds on a journey to find Lyra's dead friend Roger and ultimately where they find themselves.
As a Graphic Designer on S3 I was responsible for a broad spectrum of graphics from hero action props like Mary Malone's Diary, to full set graphics in the Magisterium Chapel. I loved working on the show, the breadth of the work and the imaginative opportunities provided by Erica McEwan (Lead GD), Joel Collins (PD) and Charlie Lynam (Set Dec)

Hostage
Hostage follows the story of the Prime Minister (Suranne Jones) and French Premier (Julie Delpy) as they navigate a thrilling tale of kidnap, blackmail and the bombing of No. 10 Downing St.
As Graphic Designer on this show I was responsible for a number of sets, as well some some key screen graphics and action props.

Empire of Light
Empire of Light is an unlikely love story between a younger man and an older woman who find each other (and a part of themselves) while working at a small seaside cinema in 1980. Starring Olivia Coleman and Michael Ward, and directed by Sam Mendes.
Working as a Graphic Designer I was largely responsible for lots of the specific period packaging as well as supporting Chris Kittisakkul (Lead GD) across all the sets.

Adverts
A lot of these graphics fall into the category of "blink and you'll miss it" but occasionally a graphic gets a feature. Being a print and packaging specialist, I'm often called on to work on ads with a modern home or high street focus, and I love the range of work that comes out of these super high speed projects, from breakdown to budget and all the graphics in between.
